JAY

VOCAL HARMONIES, LEADS, GUITAR
Jay Pendleton was born and raised in Queens, New York, where he sang in a New York street corner Doo-Whop band. At age fifteen, Jay took up the guitar (self taught) and sang harmony playing gigs with several Rock bands. After re-locating across the Hudson River to New Jersey, Jay played with a Country/Western band before returning to one of his first musical interests, singing tenor in his local church choir in central New Jersey. Jay "hooked-up" with another four-piece band, The Showcasemen, playing a wide variety of gigs, concerts, street fairs and weddings for several years throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania playing Classic Rock, Country/Western, Big Band, Standards and even Polka! Another re-location (to the Sunshine State), brought Jay in contact with Ron Acierno. Ron with amazing lead vocals, Jay with strong harmonies and guitar - let's just say they hit it off immediately. Their various musical backgrounds and interests complemented each other perfectly. Blending vocal harmonies with Ron, Linda, and Deb, and performing lead vocals in, but not limited to: Brown-Eyed Girl, Fins, Come a Little Bit Closer, Chantilly Lace, This Magic Moment, and Midnight Confessions have made life sweet for Jay. Jay continues to sing tenor in his local church choir.
