Phil Stokes played with RCA Recording Artist "Pure Prairie League" with Hit Song "AMY".

Phil toured worldwide with many other groups such as: Shakedown, Epic Records, J.D. Blackfoot-Mercury Records,founding member of The Pure Prairie League  RCA Records. Phil also played with Eric Moore of the "Godz" of Casa Blanca records.

 Phil also has played with Dennis Yost and the Classics Four; Rockabilly legend Sleepy Labeef.

Phil did "Session work" with many well know artists such as: Jeff Senholt of Black Sabbath. Bob Burns and Randall Hall, both of Lynyrd Skynyrd. George McCorkle of Marshall Tucker. Johnny Neal of The Allman Brothers, Ted Patton and The Southern Rockers. Phil currently a founding member with BEYOND.FM Recording Artist- The Ghost Riders. Phil has been touring with The Ghost Riders worldwide for the last several years.

Phil does solo,duo & full set bands.

He plays Classic Rock, Oldies (50's & 60'), Country, Blues &Southern Rock, etc.
